Aluminium ingots and alloys are melted together to manufacture billets, casting, engine blocks, cylinder heads, pistons etc. SHIVGAS LPG is extensively used for aluminium melting, holding and re-melting processes.

Case hardening is the method of hardening the surface of metals for higher wear resistance and greater fatigue strength. ShivGas LPG possesses wider preference over other fuels for Carburizing, Nitriding and Carbo-nitriding processes in heat treatment applications.

Endothermic gas is a mixture of several gases like Hydrogen, Nitrogen, CO, CO2 and Water Vapour. It is used in many heat treatment furnaces for a strong Oxygen reducing atmosphere. LPG is gaining fast popularity as a carbon enhancer in the controlled furnace atmosphere. Gas Carburizing, Carbonitriding, Hardening/Annealing, High Temperature Brazing and Carbon Restoration of Steel are some of the most common heat treatment applications where the use of LPG has increased.

ShivGas LPG is trusted by many manufacturing units to pass over the heated catalyst along with air in the retort at a temperature of 1030-1050 °C – generating Endo gas in the process. Quality LPG free from unsaturates and heavy hydrocarbons (like Pentane, Hexane etc.) is ensured by us. Hot dip Galvanizing is the immersion of clean, oxide-free iron or steel in molten zinc. It helps to form a protective zinc coating that is metallurgically bonded to the iron or steel’s surface. Wires, barbed wires, sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, strips, structural steel, fittings, hardware, fasteners, nails, wire cloth etc, are manufactured using this process. Today, LPG is being widely preferred over other conventional fuels in the Hot Dip Galvanization Process.

Powder Coating is a surface coating process that gives a ‘dry finish’ to metals, imparting a colour finish and acting as a protection layer to the base metal. The benefits of this process over conventional liquid painting include superior consistency and uniformity, longer life, better impact resistance, greater corrosion resistance and lesser pollution.

In the Powder Coating process, finely ground dry paint film is electrostatically applied onto a specially prepared surface. Heating the film with ShivGas LPG lends a tough smooth finish, better than LDO, HSD and other fuels. Our LPG has effective use for all the steps in the process including degreasing, phosphating, passivation, drying and pre-heating and curing. It also helps create a uniform finish without sags, drips, runs and bubbles.

Roto Moulding is used to produce hollow plastic products.Heating, melting, shaping and cooling are few of the steps in the process where polymers are placed inside the mould without applying external pressure. Combining heat and bi-axial rotation, Roto Moulding creates seamless, stress-free hollow one-piece items.
